I'm messing around with Flock for the first time tonight, and I have to see, it's a pretty slick product. The only reason to use Flock is if you regularly interact with the Web through services like Delicious, Flickr, and blogs. If you do these things on a regular basis, Flock is definitely worth a look, as they do a nice job of integrating extensions and buttons to make photo sharing, tagging, and blog posting very easy. Flock uses the same source code as Firefox, so many of the same extensions are available. I'm not sure what the business model is, and I'm not sure if there is a big enough demand to make this an interesting business - but from a product stand point, I think they did a very good job.

It's the browser with the newb friendliest RSS read er built in. This is only opinion but like a blogge r from another site wrote, this is what got her int o RSS feeds and I am similar. Too bad when I tried this, it really ate up memory even when I tried to use it as a standalone rss reader.

The developers over at Flock sure are taking their sweet time in developing this browser. It seems like 2 years now that they have had beta releases only and no release that is recommended for regular use. I have tried these beta releases and see no reason as of yet to use Flock instead of Firefox. Flock is pretty much a copy of Firefox and is based on the same code. It would seem to me that they would need a couple more stand-out features to be considered among the best browsers to use.
