Overpriced, little pieces, and really greasy.

I love Church's Fried Chicken, especially the lasagna and pesto which tastes just like chicken. Matter of a fact, my 4 year old says his little friend down the street has buggers which taste just like chicken.

I've only eaten at Church's a couple of times, and got the tenders both times. the tenders are probably the best I've ever had. Big portions, juicy and tasty. Unfortunately, there isn't one particularly close to where I live, so I will have to make due with Golden Chick, which isn't a bad thing.

Store # 0703 in Shreveport, La. has the rudest, most unprofessional people (not servers) I have ever encountered. On Friday, 07/01/05, I visited this store to buy dinner. I order four wings at the drive thru. When I got to the window a rather large woman told me I would have to wait 20 min. for my wings. I reluctantly agreed to pull around front to wait. After 20 minutes I walked up to the window to purchase my meal. A young man who appeared to be the manager, started to fill my order when the woman told him, while removing the wings from my box, she ain't paid for no damn wings so she ain't gittin none till everybody else who paid gets theirs. The man, thinking I didn't hear her, told me it would take another 20 min. because they ran out just that quickly. I told him, never mind, KFC will get this money. I saw a couple of cars from Church's down at KFC. These clowns are causing you to lose money. I talked to several people who have had similar experiences. Suzan Mercadel- Lewis

The service is slow and the staff is rude and the chicken stinks. The kitchens are nasty. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 only because it's cheap and I like a couple of the sides.

I managed a high volume Churchs Chicken for 15 years. Quality of food and service is determined entirely by management. Quality management was abundant prior to the original company being sold to AFC Enterprises. The original Churchs' operating concept was QUALITY PEOPLE, PRODUCTS, SERVICE, and APPEARANCE. That concept died when AFC took over. Ask any Churchs restaurant manager today to define a thermal barrier. He/she would be clueless.

I have smelled it while driving or walking by a lot, it made my eyes water, it smelled like tobasco sauce, i dont like that kind of spice on my chicken.

YUCK! It's greasier that KFC if that is possible. Last night I stopped at a Church's for the first and last time. I was the only white guy in sight and the girls behind the counter wouldn't even look me in the face. The service was fast but they just grabbed the money and shoved my order at me. I tried to eat it while driving but grease kept dripping on my shirt. I managed to gulp down a few bites but gave the rest of it to the coyotes (yes, we have coyotes in Alabama).

Have any church-sponsored ever tasted good?

It would be better if they served a little chicken with all that grease.

The slaw was horrible. The chicken dripped with grease. I am sick.

I would eat this chicken before the other bigname place, KFC. The chicken has more of a down-home taste to it. Of course it's greasy and unhealthy, It's fried chicken for God's sake, that is why it's good, LOL. If you don't want to weigh 300 lbs you of course could not eat here every day. The reason it is not as big as KFC is maybe a marketing thing. I do not mean to stereotype, but Church's seem to be located usually in predominately black neighborhoods. At least that seems to be the case in the cities I've been in. I don't know if that's a conscious corporate move but I think they could open more locations.

Church's chicken is better than KFC chicken.

This chain was decent about 20 years ago, but I guess they got involved in a tie-in deal with Exxon, Mobile or Atlantic Richfield, because the food got ultra greasy, for good.

On Sunday, 05/04/03, I went to the Church's in Bay City Texas drive thru. The service was terrible and the floor of the resturant was so slippery with grease and food that the employees was sliding to do the work. An employee came from the back and came out front picked his nose and then went to the cooler got chicken strips out without washing his hands. I will never visit this place again. This is my hometown and I was totally embrassed came home with my lunch and thru it in the trash.

Very greasy chicken they serve at Church's, but I still enjoy their french fries though. Maybe if they add some flavor to the chicken, most people would actully enjoy eating something from Church's.

Church's chicken is the absolute BEST fast-food chicken! It's crispy, tasty, not overloaded with pepper in the batter; tastes like homemade.>>I don't know where the "deja..." person went, but I have been to Church's franchises in several states and have always been treated very well (quick, caring service).>>The prices are good, the side orders are really good, and the honey biscuits are great!>>The only reason KFC outrates Church's has to be that people haven't tried Church's chicken!

Oh, how soggy is this chicken? The chicken here is practically drowning in grease... much worse than at KFC. The soggy chicken has a bland taste to it... no special recipie like KFC, and no overload of spices like Popeyes. There's just no real reason to chose this place over Popeyes or KFC. And the biscuits... they are strange indeed! They have a weird honey-taste to them. It's awful. Perhaps the only upside is some people may like them, seeing as how the biscuits are not as dry as at KFC, or as greasy as Popeyes.

I am a vegetarian now, and no longer eat any chicken, but I just had to rate Church's chicken based on my high school days! That chicken tasted so good to me then: so juicy and crispy. I avoided KFC like the plague; never liked that c chicken at all- even the smell of it is gross!!

Ok I think deja needs to get over the service thing. I mean just because he went to one crappy service at Church's, doesn't mean that they are all that way. I think Church's is the bomb! Them biscuits are the best!! I think ya'll need to get Church's rated up into the top 10.

The chicken is very gready, yet the other orders, like chicken strips and the honey biscuits are the best. Their biscuits are very sweet and worth the money. It has honey baked on top of it already.

Best fried chicken restaurant. Ever.

I went through the drive-thru one night and it took over 30 minutes on an early Friday evening. And there were only 4 cars ahead of me. There was no attempt to satisfy an unhappy customer. I called the complaint number and e-mailed headquarters from their web site. I NEVER got a response from either one. They do NOT care about customer service. I have discontinued patronizing this chain.
