Funny commercials, terrible food. Their tacos are nothing but cheese and a taco shell. Hey dudes, where's the beef? I once ordered some fries, and they were as cold as winter. Never again dudes, never again.

They don't have Jack in the box where I live(Cincinnati,Ohio), but I know of them for their famous E-COLI burgers. A bunch of kids died from eating here!!! I would never eat here, and anyone who takes their kids to eat here are not right.

nov. 5,2005 Does jitb have a senior citizen discount. There are two in our area. At one an employee asked me and then gave me the discount. Last night we visited the other one and I asked about a senior discount. I heard her ask someone something about a discount. She handed me our order, we had already paid, said nothing about your senior citizen discount policy, didn't even say thanks. She then closed the window and we drove off. She was rude. We won't go back.

If you want a meal full of grease then Jack in the Box is perfect! My first experience was with tacos many years ago and every occasional experiences that I have had since still meet my low/no expectations. Even some milkshake thing I had was nasty!

Today being the 8th of Oct.2005,my husband and I decided to go to JIB for a ciabatta burger,(which is the best burger we have ever tasted.)Our complaint isn't about the food or cost,it's management.We arrived around 4:00 pm,ordered,and sat down,there were several very young,loud,and unruly children in the very small resturant,turns out they belonged to one of the employees on duty trying to work and mind the little darlings,as they fought yelled and screamed at each other,she eventually took one of them to the restroom and proceeded to dust his britches rather loudly,but by that time the damage was done and our meal was ruined by the disturbance.Our second complaint is if you don't eat fast,the flies eat it for you.One employee was on her cell phone talking so loud we couldn't hear our on conversation.Please help, we don't want to stop going there,but the shop needs responsible help.Plus we like the food.JIB #741 ph.#940-665-2911. The Chicken Supreme and the Chicken Fahita Pita are both very good. Although it is not my favorite every one I know seems to enjoy the sourdough burgers. Update: the chicken supreme is gone and now we have these new skinny long sandwiches with to much sauce. Jack's menu is becoming a revolving door and you never know whats going to be on the menu.

Jack, I absolutely love your Pannidos (except the price) The new sourdough Club is excellent (execpt the price) You have the best salads right next to Wendys. Your 2 deep fried tacos with mystery-meat paste for 99 cents are addicting. Overall I love your menu, it's the most diversified fast food menu in Southern California. I do have a few complaints. Bacon-Bacon Cheeseburger is very salty (gross). Jumbo Jacks should be 99 cents. Bring back the philly Cheese Steaks and the triple ultimate cheeseburger. Other than that way to go Jack.

The fries are okay, and the curly fries are great. Their potato skins are pretty good, and they have a nice breakfast menu. The burgers are really good, probably the best tasting burgers of any place. Problem is, it sits on your stomach like you ate an entire cow, almost like it's punishing you for not eating healthier. I don't know what it is, but I've never felt groggier than I have after eating a Jumbo Jack or one of their bacon cheeseburgers. Even the Sourdough Jack does it to me. It's times like this I wish there were half stars, as I would give them 3 1/2. The more I think about the way the burgers make me feel, the more I slide to a three.

Maybe you don't like their burgers, or their fries, but you will definitely love their chicken strips! They are tender and juicy and overall delicious!! Jack-In-The-Box gets a thumbs up for chicken!! Also, try their milkshakes!

Burgers aren't bad, but the fries leave a lot to be desired, hence the mediocre rating.

I respect that they dont hide the fact that the food is bad for you. They straight up admit it. There are no JIBS here in PA but I have connections in AZ which bring me there about 3 times a year. So, when Im in the Phoenix-Tucson area Im pigging out at a Jack In The Box. I dig the Sourdough Burgers.

not a fan. when i visited california, my family went there twice, and the second time it made me sick. went right through me. when i ate weinerschnitzel and krispy kreme hours later, it just aggravated it. at the time, the burgers were pretty good, but the whole place looks slummy. plus, the character, Jack, really creeps me out.

Trying to think of ANYTHING they got going for them....nope, nothing.

Fairly good food, outrageous prices. Better than both Burger King and McDonalds, but IN-N'-OUT and Chick-Fil-A are still the king!

Pannidos are good, especially the bread (who'd have guessed from this place?) I'd avoid everything else, though. I tried an Ultimate Cheeseburger once when I was feeling especially daring. Wasn't the best I've had, but definitely the greasiest, so it's the kind of thing you'll like, if you like that kind of thing.

E. Coli!!!!!!!

It's important to realize that the E.Coli problem these guy's went through could very easily happen at any other fast food place. My reason for not going to Jack in the Box is simple: it stinks!

Ugh again! Plastic, flourescent cheese, dry buns....and that's what I could see before I ran outa there!

The only good thing about this fast food restraunt is its milkshakes! They are thick and yummy. Would not recommend the food, ugh!!!!

I MUST AGREE WITH STEALTHCAT ON THE GREASE ISSUE. I HAPPEN TO LOVE THE GRILLED SOUR DOUGH BUT HATE HAVING TO LET IT OIL OFF ON THE PAPER NAPKIN.

Average grade junk food. Breakfast menu sucks, pretty bad tasting stuff. Burgers are kinda real greasy and I hate tasting the grease. Been eating their tacos for over 35 years. for some reason I lovd those greasy tacos. Usually get the Ultimate Cheeseburger. Overall, better than Burger King and McDonald's but not near as good as Wendy's, Carls Jr or In-N-Out

Should be renamed Crap in the Box. They opened one up in Philly years ago. Never had a good meal there. They closed up after a couple of years. Can't believe they are so popular on the left coast. Didn't they have an e. coli pandemic not too long ago?

Jack in the Box is easily the greasiest fast food joint I've ever seen. I can feel the pores in my face clogging up with oil as soon as I walk in the place. As for the taste, it can be good if you're ready to deal with a nasty case of heartburn afterward. Their ultimate cheeseburgers are just how I want a burger to be -- big, loaded with cheese, free of all those healthy vegetables, and dripping with heart-clogging grease. Though I simply do not understand the fondness so many people have for this place's tacos. They are easily the most revolting thing I've ever eaten in a fast food joint. And their breakfast items aren't too good either. How you can screw up a sausage biscuit is beyond me.

The food at Jack in the Box isn't really that horrible. But back when they had the big E.Coli scare years ago...I haven't been there since. I am sure this could happen just as easily somewhere else...but it certainly made an impact with me, and I am sure there are other people that won't go there for the same reason. But as it stands now...there are no Jack in the Boxes in the area I live in, so I can't really give them a chance. When I am on a trip elsewhere, I never stop there.

Jack is great, has great food, clean resturants. Its always funny people bring up e-coli situation, which happened 11 years ago! Funny, other places, like Chi Chi's, McDonalds, Various supermarket chains had the same problems, but it always seems to be Jack in the Box in peoples memory. THe radical changed their food handling since then, and they are the safest fast food resturant.

HORRIBLE. I think they should wrap their burgers in toilet paper - I was on the crapper before I was done eating.

This chain used to be owned by Purina and the food reflected as such. The only redeeming feature of this chain in the 1960s was the drive-up window. Now virtually every fast food outlet offers such a gimmick, so what has Jacked-Off-In-A-Box done in the past three decades to keep up with the times?

Jack in the Box has got to be in the top five most UN-healthy fast food options in the country. The shakes and greasy (but good) tacos are the best tasting items there, and worth a try. Be warned, you may actually feel your heart start to slow down after the fourth taco.

The Jumbo Jack is the tastiest piece of junk food ever made. But you can’t eat it and drive at the same time or it will end up in your lap.

Their guarrantee says, "We'll fix it or its free". They didn't and it wasn't. They shorted my $15.49 order (missing egg rolls). When I pulled around and asked for them, they accused me of taking them out of the bag. So, I asked for the egg rolls and my money back. They wanted the food back before releasing my money. If anything the statement should be, "We'll fix it or we'll give you back your money" What a bunk of jerks

JITB recently expanded into my area of the country. Hearing all the hype that surrounded it, I thought a trip to JITB was in order. I was disappointed, but gave them 2 more chances. It didn't get any better. The food didn't really taste that much better than McDonald's, and the prices weren't reasonable at all. The one saving grace is their good milkshakes. I can't speak for their other menu items (tacos, chicken), but for a hamburger, you'd be better off going elsewhere.

The food grosses me out. I'd eat there only if I was starving to death. The food damn sucks. The burgers taste like rubber.
