They are a little low on my list because they always seem to FRY everything! Yes, I know it's in the name (Kentucky FRIED Chicken) but their food is low quality and usually over cooked. It always tastes so dry. I enjoy their biscuits and cole slaw though, but that's about it.

I enjoy going to them if I'm looking for something to take into the movie theater (popcorn chicken) because I can end up fitting and entire meal in my purse and I don't have to buy any of the theater food.

The food is great. I love the chicken, biscuits, and cole slaw. I knocked it down one star because the service usually sucks.

kfc is okay but they are very boring. nothing special about them. red and white? boring. kentucky? boring. chicken? boring. cole slaw? boring.

KFCs have been hit and miss for me. I tend to go to the same location that provides good service. If I walk in a place and it's dirty and employees are rude, goodbye!

Im not big on fast food but there is a time and a place for it...when Im pinched for time I like the KFC buffet.  A little pricey but a variety of food and I can get out in a hurry.  The other thing I like (when they offer it) is to take a leg and thigh bucket home.

Great chicken, the wraps aren't bad, and those bowls are actually rather tasty.

I absolutely love the chicken strips dipped in the honey bbq sauce!! I would rather have that than a fancy steak dinner. Which brings me to this comment....they would cost about the same!! KFC's prices are way too expensive.

i m writing this review just to put out a really bad experience i faced at one of the kfc's at charlotte north carolina.
this s located on west sugar creek road in north charlotte.
last week i went there at around 8 30 in the evening to have a take out.i ordered a couple of things. and i could nt beleive the service at that place. the staff were so rude while taking the order. i was the only customer they had at that time, but my order came after 45 minutes.
even handing over my order to me they did nt show minimum courtesy.
i really hated that experience.
m not generalising this to all kfc's, but before u go to this particular branch, think twice...

They do have a good recipe compared to the competition. Their prices could be a tad cheaper.  Also with all that grease they used over the years they got a bad rep from health food experts.  I was glad to see that at least they are trying to be more health oriented, since they started using 0% trans fat cooking oil.

The tiny dinosaur Compsognathus never really went extinct, the Colonel raised them on his farm and really all this sh** is is fried Compsognathus dipped in grease, not chicken. Actually, for what it is it isn't too bad.

I went to the flemington NJ one at 7 at night and they told me they ran out of chicken. Why go to KFC if not for chicken. The portions usually are small and greasey. They have workers there whom I suspect don't have green cards. One who was waiting at the counter said something to me over and over. Finally the manager translated " regular or extra crispy". They should be working at taco bell.

how do they get 2 litres of oil into 1 small piece of chicken! I love kfc, but they might as well cover a carrot in secret herbs and spices, since I do not eat the bit in the middle, just the coating...still it is fab - you just need to be a salt fiend.

Well, Let me start off by saying i work at KFC in Delano California. The owner of our franchise is Charles Buckner. I hate working there but its because they are too strict i never knew why but after reading some reviews here now i see why they are so strict we have good service (they make us) and the food is actually fresh and the chicken is dry when they dont cook it right if you cook it right its actually juicy, and people say they abuse chickens, actually kfc doen'st have a farm they order it from companies like forster farms and such, companies that are reputable and same companies that people buy from at the store. yes we have a clean lobby and clean everything and we have two minutes to hand out the food after you order it two minutes max!! now i see why they are strict so if you get a chance to stop by Delano or any other Charles Buckner owned kfc youll like it i cant speak for other kfc's though...toodles!

I think KFC makes good chicken. I order it on occasion and only if I have a coupon for it. It is really worth it. I like the chicken strips and the popcorn chicken.

Just a greasy mess.  When I was a kid, KFC was a treat.  I remember going to see Colonel Sanders when he visited a restaurant in Georgia back in the 1960's.  He used to do that for marketing and quality control purposes.  I had some "original" recipe chicken last week in Hyattsville, MD, only as a last resort.  The green beans were quite good with the mashed potatoes and cold slaw tasting quite 'industrial".  I don't see how KFC remains in business in the deep South, where fried chicken is a delicacy.  I guess the answer is that "cheap and quick" fast food destroyed the "mom & pop" sit-down restaurants.  We have gotten what we deserved!    JUST A GREASY MESS!

The best when it comes to their mashed potatoes and gravy and their biscuits, MAYBE their popcorn chicken. The rest? I can take it or leave it.

UPDATE: No more will I step foot in this dump again! At least where I live, anyway. A recent visit (about a month ago) really turned me off. My gosh, the place made a pig-sty look good by comparison. The floor was dirty with trash all over the place. More than one table was loose from the floor (making it a safety hazard as well as a health hazard). I couldn't find a clean table anywhere in the establishment. Then there was a matter of a filthy bathroom that was out of order for who-knows-how-long. I ordered popcorn chicken, which I usually like, but this mess spoiled it for me. Now I'm not going to be so quick to stereotype all KFC restaurants because of this experience, but reading some of the other comments, at least I know this isn't an isolated case. Something should be done.

I came to this site because I wanted to let the management know that the kfc/taco bell in bvl florida is horrible I have had the worse service I have ever recieved it is like the people are so ready to go home they trashed every thing but a few dry breast and wings dipped potatoes with a cup and then the gravy the same way. The little pimple faced girl was the rudest of all the guy in front of me had to let her know in spanish then he just came out and said you are rude. It was horrible I am now home afraid to eat the chicken that I would not even serve to this cat that will not leave my house. Something has to be done!!!!

KFC is the best. Even though the General Manager is in a wheelchair. They serve Good Chicken.<3

The KFC shop on Ridge rd, in Rochester, NY should be closed down. The employees there treat customers like crap. I basically had my meal thrown at me on my last visit a couple of days ago. I asked for original and received crispy. The young black girl behind the counter actually had a tantrum. There were young black boys just hanging out in there & not buying anything, but were bumping into people trying to do some kind of dance move. Only 1 person was working the front counter, a couple of boys in the back were horsing around and there were more outside having a smoke. I have frequented this KFC numerous times and it gets worse everytime. I'd like to know who the manager is and if they actually manage the people there. Also, who owns this franchise?

Ok a couple of months ago I went to KFC and waited in the drive tru line for like 15 minutes which really pissed me off then i get to the speaker and ordered a bucket of chicken and get this, the didn't have any chicken!. What the fuck is that shit all about. Hello! You are a chicken place but you ran out of chiken. Fuck you KFC!

I now only go there for the buffalo snacker. My girlfriend had the bowl and said it was nasty. For the price of a bucket of chicken I can go out and eat a prime rib special. Lets face it... old man sanders really pops his big old one eye out on ya when its time to pay. Too fricken expensive and greasy chicken. There are too many other chicken places independent that I would prefer to eat at. KFC(kilos of fat and colesterol) has really gone down the shitter in the past years. Alot of the ones I have been in are filthy in the lobbies and there is shit and piss all over the rest rooms. And from reading other posts here I am not alone when I am constantly frustrated with the same old shitty service and boarderline retards working behind the counter. Its not so much that they are stupid as it just seems like nobody gives a shit. The buscuits are good but even the last time I had those they were raw in the middle. The potatoes taste terribly instant. I dont mind instant but these things just tasted really bad last time I had them. I have also had the experience of undercooked chicken at a location in Wisconsin one time but they handled it well and gave me a refund of my money (still gross). I dont see myself going back for much more than a snacker here and there. They can pretty much take the rest of their overpriced hybrid greasy chicken and stick it all up there asses. 1 star for the snacker.

KFC SUCKS! bottom line! The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the buscuits are decent but dry without gravy, the potatoes are palatable and the coleslaw is up there with the best.

As far as the chicken?!?!?!?
It tastes worse than something out of the frozen food section. Anything cooked in thier "crispy coating" tastes like its freezer burnt. It should be used as filler for potholes in asphalt. The original recipie has an interesting seasoning but the texture is all wrong for chicken. Also I got a few pieces severely undercooked in the past.
I love buffalo wings so I went ahead and tried thier boneless wings and WOW! I was floored at how bad they were. I ate a few pieces and I couldn't take no more! After I threw them away, the house still smelled like vinigar for an hour. Seriously! The worst part about it is those scam artists charged me almost 9 dollars for that crap!

Colonel Sanders' original recipe chicken is probably the dryest fast food chicken you'll eat. The chicken skin is not crunchy. They really should've named it the Terrible Recipe Chicken instead. Their popcorn chicken can be bought at any supermarket. The only reedemable things are the side dishes. Their biscuits are decent and their mashed potatoes with gravy is tasty. The potatoe wedges are nice if you go in on the right day. I got a question though... what happened to their hot wings (the ones without the sauces)? Those were really good, but they decided to take it off the menu for some reason (bad idea). The KFC logo has Colonel Sanders with a smile on his face because that's what he does every time someone orders his Terrible Recipe Chicken.
