One of my favorite places to go for fast food.
brianzzz 05/02/2008
you will not really know anything about subway unless you actually work there for more than 5 months. so if you want to know, go apply. im a manager there and i hear a lot of false things that people assume about subway. so there is only one way to REALLy know.
AND, you ARE a sandwich artist because there is actually sum skill to building a good sub.
its a lot more work than just going and making and sub when someone walks in. people quit everyday because its too much for them. there is a million things you have to do between each costumer, which is why my subway is always clean and has the highest rating in wisconsin.
trebon1038 04/22/2008
I don't eat there often but do really like most of them. Some stores are subpar though.
GenghisTheHun 04/17/2008
Sure. Who hasn't stopped here?

Subway is the only fast food chain I will eat at away from home. I refuse to eat anything greasy and fattening and Subway has healthy menu options. I also like the fact they have the nutrional information on there website and you can even order in some areas on there site. I like there salads and sandwhiches they even have fat free salad dressing. I give it a five star because this is a healthy place to eat. Not very many places are.
Dishwallafied 04/14/2008
I'm not a sandwich person, unless it's BBQ chicken or grilled cheese. Haha. I like Subway's BBQ chicken sandwiches.
redrosesandame moryofyou 03/05/2008
Come on! whats better then getting to tell some person to make you a sandwhich, and watch them do it!! And you can put whatever you want on it! My favorite- sea food on italian herb and cheese! YUM! And No I Dont want that toasted!
EdWeston1 02/29/2008
Please email me your pricing, I typically buy 1 0r 2 foot long subs w/ triple meat and triple cheese, lettuce and mayo, for 2 typically less than $15, today for 2 - triple meat and double cheese, lettuce and mayo they charged me $19.50. Please email me the current price list of the badsic sandwich and optional add ons. I don't understand the descrepency other than your employees age/training threfore I request your pricing by email to "e48061@sbcglobal.net" , please advise, or I can always shop for something else, just send me your base price and the cost of each added componet. Till I hear from you, No Sale, Ed Weston 6163995802

Does Double-Meat actually mean "double-meat" (i.e., exactly twice the meat of a normal sub)? I have always been suspicious of this, but today I ordered "The Feast" (which is supposed to be one layer of nearly every meat) and the server only gave me two small slices of roast beef, leaving a huge area without any roast beef in the middle. I asked, since this sandwich is priced at "double-meat" prices, if she was only allowed to put two small pieces of roast beef, and she said yes, that was all that is allowed. My main question is: where can I go to find out what the server/attendants are allowed to put on each sandwich? I know employees have access to this info, listed above the sneeze tray), but consumers are not privy to this. Is there a place to go for this info?
whiteline 02/19/2008
what is the average number of slices of meat on a subway 6" sandwich
cyqing 11/10/2007
Yum! Best mainstream fast food option out there. Toasted turkey/ham with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and honey mustard is the way to go!
Essexxx 11/06/2007
Considering the general face of fast food today, I'm definitely a Subway fan.
f4service 10/16/2007
The only way for Subway to have an ok rating from me is by buying 5 subs, combining them all together, and throwing out 4 of the rolls. Than, you might have a sandwich to vote on.
smittypiper 08/29/2007
Try a turkey and ham because they add more meat(they have at my shops). Also get oil and vinegar with low fat mayo for a nice taste. I get lettuce onion ,tomatoe and banana peppers. Ive read about shops in canada that are owned by certain proprietors that sell very old stale bread. Here in willoughby ohio its always good. Im just on the other side of lake erie..
narthon 08/16/2007
Really not very good. Go to any pizza shop and get a sub that actually tastes good instead. Subway is as bad as McDonalds for a tasteless product.
Astromike 08/05/2007
Subway is a GREAT change of pace from fried fast food. However, they can do a much better job on their salads. They have a GREAT sandwich selection! My personal fav is the Coldcut Trio Combo, even better with double meat!
Skinnydude 06/21/2007
BIG ENOUGH MENU TOO HAVE SOME TASTEY OPTIONS. HEALTHIER PLACE THAN MOST. PRICES ARE FAIR. NOT A THE TYPICAL BURGER JOINT SO ITS A NICE CHANGE OF PACE. THEY ARE PRETTY EASY TO FINE THESE DAYS
sashablackkitt y 06/18/2007
I am a sandwich addict and always prefer a nice sub to a greasy burger and fries. Subway has lots of good sandwiches to choose from and lots of fresh vegis to choose from. I love that you can toast your sandwich now. I am a fan of the chicken bacon and ranch right now. My usuals are the tuna or chicken breast. My husband always gets a decked out Spicy Italian. They load it so big with vegis his sandwich is usually twice my sandwiches size... but that shows you how they will load it if you want them to! The bread is always fresh and good. Delicious! I'd eat there everyday also if it were cheaper.. but everything is pricey now days.
jmintuck 06/12/2007
I have a Subway just a couple blocks down from me. I would eat there nearly every day if it wasn,t so expensiv. Here, the service has always been good and the bread often cooked within the last few hours or less.I like jalapeno,s so I ask them to pile them on. They always do.I dont know about you, but I like my local Subway.
LadyJesusFan77 7 06/07/2007
Subway's okay, but I prefer Port O' Subs.
Cozmix 06/06/2007
I love Subway... never got a bad sub from there, and the choices are much healthier than other places, like Quiznos. I love stacking on as many veggies as possible =)
Gracehm 05/25/2007
Subway's sandwiches are pretty good but the don't quite compare to Quiznos. My favorite sandwich at Subway is the Meatball Sandwich. I wish that they had mushrooms to put on their sandwiches. As far as I know, Quiznos is the only one.
Matrix12866 05/19/2007
Not the greatest...skimpy on the meat, and the quality of the meat isn't all that good as well.
MissPackRat4Je sus 05/19/2007
Where Subway may have it over Port O' Subs is they really fill the sandwiches to where you can really sink your teeth into them, and they don't seem to cheat you on any of the filling. There's something missing: they don't have pepperoni as a meat choice.
XAgent 05/19/2007
Fairly popular around my house.
lucy2 05/18/2007
I get monthly cravings for the Italian sub and get a lot of vegetables on it. (There is a Subway I pass 2 minutes from where I work) Beware of those jalepenos though; I was surprised at the heat.
PixarFan2007 05/17/2007
Subway makes good sandwiches. I like getting a turkey sub and sometimes I order it toasted which is a lot better.
Vudija 05/02/2007
Hmmm, I'm always up for Subway.
BlueOrchid 04/27/2007
Probably the best fast food I've ever had because they're sandwiches and not everything turns out fried, etc.
mrjackson206 04/26/2007
If you ever eat at subway and would like a great sandwich thats healthier than any of the fast food joints definetly give subway. their Chicken Teriyaki sub cant be beat. Well worth your money in all aspects.
bri719 03/31/2007
gross
conaseur 02/24/2007
I go to a clean one, it seems. Specials are $1.99 daily, always fresh, service is fast, I am a regular here. (Va. Beach)
Humorbot 02/21/2007
Thats one good sandwich. The guys at my work experience ate there every day.
oscargamblesfr o 02/02/2007
Try as I might, I just can't that episode of South Park where Jared comes to the town, and that awesome parody song out of my head when considering this place. Terrible- but chains just cannot compete with the neighborhood, small business sub shops.
AndrewHefeweis en 01/19/2007
You sound like a Subway corporate spy. Keep your meddling propaganda out of the public sphere! Nothing you say can make Subway taste good. Their veggies are far from fresh, the meat is processed and contains large amounts of non meat filler. The oat bread SUCKS just like the rest of the over aerated balloon loaves of processed sawdust. And the worst part is there is always some mongoloid behind the counter that looks like he/she is ready to shoot themselves. Accordingly they apply the same attitude to their sandwich making, always handing over a poorly made, discumbobulated smashed pile of filth. Oh you want that sub hot? Here let me throw it in our industrial nuker for 10 seconds to melt the inadequate translucent slices of cheese-product. Portion size is terrible!
manonthecorner 77 11/25/2006
I notice it goes by which Subway you go to. However I still think Subway blows in comparison to others such as Quiznos and Blimpe. I favor Blimpe subs because they use a much better quality meat, they offer toasted or regular and the veggies are always good and fresh so its a win win and win with them. Subway to me has always and will always be a sub-par sandwich chain. I find them to be way overpriced on their specialty sandwiches. I think 8 dollars for sub with some shitty thinly sliced immitation meat is pretty steep. When I lived in Arizona I found the Shops to be a little better out there than back here in the Midwest. I don't find myself going there very often. Its always better than that shithole called McDonalds but definatley the McDonalds of subshops in my book. I give it a 2 star rating. Oh yeah Jared is a fucking retard. Jared if you read this EAT MY ASS you annoying steaming pile of donkey shit! Everyone else have a nice day!
phx411 10/22/2006
Bland but service is relatively quick.
kedejo 09/12/2006
subway sucks cock
mylastduchess 08/22/2006
I just dont get it..I've tried giving this place a chance but wind up thorougly underwhelmed. Bland bland sandwiches. If you want a good sandwich go to the Safeway deli!
BlessedBeSiame se 08/03/2006
I have always loved Subway and even worked there for awhile when I was younger, but it is a franchise which means inconsistency in product and service which sucks sometimes. When we got Quizno's (the only other sub place in our city) I went there for a while, but mainly because it is right next to where I work. In the end I still like Subway better for subs, but you can't beat Quizno's Classic Cob Flatbread salad.
jimorama 06/05/2006
They have carpetbombed them all over New England. Not bad if you need something on the go. Not a lot of meat on the sub tho.
digitalmaxx 06/04/2006
The meatball sandwich is the best. It also doesn't qualify as one of the "Subway Diet" sandwiches. Go figure.
kissmeback 06/01/2006
more of the fast food chain should fellow their lead.excellent.
1a2b3c4d5e 05/27/2006
i work at a subway, though the sandwiches are good...i dont think that for four thin slices of ham and two slices of cheese 5 bucks is a reasonable price...advice: don't be so damn lazy and go out and buy bread meat and vegetables you'll save money and probably end up with a pretty good sandwich p.s. the lettuce is gross get the baby spinache instead
Nihiladrem 05/10/2006
Subway has always been the lowest quality sub sandwich fast food chain, but for the price used to be worth it. Now it costs the same as any of the other major locations and is still lower quality.
cwhite329 05/09/2006
I've had better experiences with Subways that aren't in my town. When I try to support the one in my town I end up with a sandwich on hard bread that's supposed to be baked fresh every day and hardly any meat. Usually I'm pretty satisfied when I go to other Subways.
Latakos 04/01/2006
Some Subways are run better than others, I've had really good service in some and others the employees seem to not give a crap about what they're doing. I dig the food and the expansive menu. Haven't tried the pizza yet, but heard that it's pretty good. Toast your sandwich and you might be getting a quick trip to the bathroom later, but man I love toasted! Three and a half stars.
