DINGOS ARE NOT PETS!!Look at him. Look at that fur, those eyes. If that dingo was behind a clear plastic wall at a pet shop, I would take him home in a heartbeat-well not really, coz petshops are the devil. I'd name him Skippy and put a purple bandanna around his neck and take him hiking, head hanging out the window, howling along to the radio. That adorable little guy with the silly name and the gleam in his eye is, in fact, absolutely nothing like your blessed yellow Labrador-Shepherd mix that was the only friendly face you saw all day in your childhood. NO. That is a wild, as in untamed, a dangerous and unpredictable animal. Wild dogs--like wolves--are inquisitive, intelligent predators that travel in packs. Which means there are several of them and they all think "fair fight" means "we outnumber the hell out of you". Do a Google search on "Dingo," and look over all of those pages. Notice a theme? Every single one of them manages to repeat the exact same sentiment ad nauseum: Do not attempt to pet the dingos. Do not attempt to play with the dingos. Do not throw squeaky toys to the fucking dingos or attempt to sneak scraps of food to the dingos from the dinner table. If a dingo follows you home, you should not keep it. DO NOT LET A DINGO PLAY WITH YOUR INFANT. They are awesome animals, BUT THEY ARE *NOT* PETS.

Wild dog of Australia that has been there for about 6000 years. The aborigines have used them as pets. See the 1988 film "A Cry in the Dark" (1988) starring Meryl Streep and Sam Neill about the baby stealing dingo incident.
In enclose Dinky, the Dingo, playing the piano and singing. He and Angus should get together.

The dingo like the kangaroo and koala, is associated with Australia and even is said to be one of the contributors to the Australian Cattle Dog breed. We do have some fun on this site (and facebook) with the dingo as well.

Has the advantage of being cheap to feed.
Just turn it loose when the neighborhood kids are running around.
