I have fair sensitive skin. This product was "guarenteed to work", the only thing it did was make me break out. It was fine when I put it on, but once I took it off I had red splotches everywhere and the next day I broke out and it made my pores look huge. I will never use this product again.

This could be such a great product. The idea behinde it is great! But they need more shades (people aren't just made in 4 colors) and the application could be easier. it shouldn't take 20 minutes to dust some powder on your face. As for the actual product... Mineral Cosmetics of anykind, will be much better for you that anything you buy as a liquid over the counter. Easy to remove, won't clog pores, good for sensative skin, and a natural SPF.

This is great foundation if you do not have large pores. It is hard to get powder into larger pores and if you don't, the large pores look obvious. This foundation also has a slight sheen and this also emphasizes pores and oily skin.

i went to the bare essectuals salon at a mall...they applied it on me.. it matched good...from 3 feet away no one can tell that i have makeup on.. but when i saw myself 1 feet away in mirror...i could see all the makeup... looked like i have caked on makeup... my pores seemed very large... and shiny... i would stick to using liquid foundation which looks much natural from far and near.

I hated this makeup. Correct application is difficult. I even went to a spa to have a lesson on how to apply the minerals and it never looked good, the colors do not match my skin tone and I even bought a lighter shade. They call it Hypo- Allergenic but everytime i used it I broke all over with little itchy bumps all over my face. I really do like the bare minerals eyeshadows they have great colors that go on easy and look great. I also LOVE the coffeebean eyeliner P.S The bare minerals foundation also caused my cousin to get the irritated rash on her face as well.

waaay to much hype for this product. Ordered the whole face line...powder is a very light "dusting"powder..does not give coverage as advertised...I use it as a light powder over foundation now...

This is the only foundation makeup i have ever used and had it look good. It really does cover red splotches, bumps and acne discolerations. A little less successful at under eye circles, but hey, i still bought it for my two teeans and recommended it to my sister. I am a believer

I tried the product twice, thinking that the first time I just didn't give it a chance. I just did not like the coverage. I have oily, acne prone, aging skin and it just didn't not enhance my complexion in any way.

Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals is just about everything that is promised. Easy to apply, improves appearance, is good on and for the skin (can actually improve skin!), safe to sleep in or workout in. The face colors like Glee and Warmth add to the natural but enhanced appearance. The only thing is I don't think it provides the level of coverage shown in commercials. But it does look and feel great on! All the products in this line are definately worth trying as well. Bare Escentuals customers are very loyal & enthusiastic and for good reason!!
