great to have the chance to hear him

Larry is funny but sometimes gets stuck on Libertarian philosophy too much and strays from reality. For example, his solution to many problems, particularly the illegal immigrant invasion is to deconstruct the welfare state. Larry, that's not going to happen. I know Larry personally and he is an indefatigable worker who spends hours and hours prepping for his shows. Listening to him never disappoints.

A very entertaining opinion writer. He articulates the conservative viewpoint without the sharp edge you get with most. Has not been given the exposure he deserves as those with the more confrontational tone (Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, etc.) gather more attention. I see Elder as on the same plane as a Clarence Page on the left. Not too strident but able to make convincing arguments if given the chance.

Larry is excellent - and I don't agree with him on many things. Nonetheless, he backs up his opinions which are always well stated and well reasoned. He challenges his guests and his audience. And he tackles the big issues. Big ups.

The man must hate himself.
