The Ohio state marching band has 5 traditions before a home game; 1. The "skull session" at nearby St. John arena, basically one last practice that starts 1 hour and a half beofre kickoff. 2. The ramp entrance, also known as the O-H-I-O OHIO chant. 3. The back bend and charge to the southern goal posts. 4. Script OHIO, 5. The dotting of the i.
The more famous of them is the dotting of the i, which was first performed in 1936, making it one of the oldest traditions in football. The eye is dotted by a 4th or 5th year sousaphone player.
Although the ohio script is not necessarily one of the most exciting traditions I give it high points for it's difficulty and the fact its been done every year since 1936.

I have been to the 'shoe and seen the script. It is classic and cool, but does not rate a 5. Clemson running the hill is much more exciting. Script is classic but is more in line with "Touchdown Jesus" - legendary, but not exciting.
