As a person of Swedish descent with Swedish relatives, I can vouch for the authenticity of his ridiculous accent! A hilarious character who talks a lot, but says very little! It's interesting how less eloquent characters are usually funnier (e.g. Harpo Marx, Charlie Browns parents etc.)

Yorn dish born de rit der git der gue... or something like that, I can't spell it as well as I can say it. Who else but the Swedish Chef can be so funny in such a heavy accent? Hilarious is he!

This guy is hilarious. I would always look forward to the Swedish Chef segments. He was also pretty easy to imitate..Gooten heiagen leader hosen youbetcha..Definitely one of my favorite Muppets (due to his great accent and excessive eyebrows).

This guy was a riot! I can't think of another character -- on any show for that matter -- that got so much laughter out of one funny accent.
