La Push is a very remote village on an Indian Reservation out on the Olympic Peninsula right on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. La Push has a campground resort area that you can also rent seaside cabins at. It's a hike to get out here, a good 4 hour drive from Seattle but worth it. It is on a beach surrounded by sea stacks, wilderness and ocean. Very close by is Olympic National Park which has some of the most majectic coastal scenery, very unspoiled. Also up the road is the Hoh rain forest.. a temperate rain forest with draping mosses and lichens and dense greenery. This was a very memorable place.. would go back in a heartbeat.
