Another "Safe" name. William or all the variations of it as nicknames is good if you just cant come up with anything else. Kinda like David. About David......Boring. This is for fun. Throw out names and let people comment on them. William , David, Samuel, B-O-R-I-N-G ! I like names with character, personality and are different. Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Excellent choice which I admit to being partial to! My father and his father were William. They both went by Bill. However, you could just call him William.

another nice name that has held up for centuries. so many nicknames that can go with it too. will, bill, billy etc.

William is my middle name and my father's first name. It would be nice to carry on a family name, but I don't exactly care for the names Will or Bill.
