Foxx is almost perfect as Ray Charles, and it's a fascinating movie because Charles's life was fascinating. 4 and a half stars

a 4.5 jamie Foxx is fantastic as Ray charles. very interesting bio pic that does not soft soap The life of Ray Charles. this showed him as a talented genius musician who had his demons. well done movie. Jamie Foxx won a much deserved Oscar for this.
