 | Rhapsody22 (12) 02/23/2006 | I've traveled in quite a few and I'd say they're more peculiar than grumpy. For me, they've run the gamut from playing wailing, Indian music incredibly loud to telling me about God's army to having a collection of Winnie the Pooh toys on his dash. But I've been lucky enough that however strange they were, they were still pleasant.

 | SZinHonshu (45) 02/23/2006 | Hell, I can explain this one to you because I had this job for a summer as a younger man. Taxi hacks are in an elevated state of mortal danger. Try driving a cab around the graveyard shift in any major or medium sized city between 2:00 and 6:00 in the morning and you will be surrounded by pimps, gangsters, dopers (a truckload!) and 37 other types of deviants who are primarily nocturnal creatures by nature.
It's interesting and the tips can be good but you see everything. And I mean EVERYTHING.
