living in Cyprus it was a relief to be able to watch english programes without subtitles, bbc prime has been a God send, but why are we so behind Eastenders is approx. 2 weeks behind England, and a recent episode of Casulty shown in Cyprus was the same one I saw in Scotland 4 years ago while on holiday. Also why do we have to have so many repeats of the same programes, I've seen Grand-dad die and Uncle Albert join the Trotters about 5 time this year alone. There are some great programes but please bring us up to date, so we can enjoy the real BBC.

The other channels listed appear to be American channels. BBC Prime is an excellent channel but it is not available in the US. BBC America is the BBC channel in the US and I am assuming the name is wrong. BBC America is awful, very few episodes of very few shows (mostly DIY) repeated endlessly. I would give it zero stars if I could.

BBC should be held accountable for the poor programming decisions and the terrible customer service of their wayward relative BBC America. If they are going to make money on the sale of the good name of BBC then they should have to watch we we are forced to watch night every night.

For refusing to be held accountable for the besmirching of the good name of BBC by the poseur BBC America, BBC Prime has earned this 1-star rating.

Can't think of any shows I like on this station and it's rarely ever watched in my house. We might flip by it but that's it.

I love Monty Python but that's about it.

I owe a lot to BBC Prime. Without them I would have lost out on many things. They've brought me Monty Python's flying circus, Blackadder, Father Ted, Absolutly Fabulous, The vicar of Dibley, French & Saunders, Men behaving badly, Celebrity ready, steady, cook, Animal hospital, Battersea dogs home and Parkinson. Where ever would I be if I hadn't been able to watch and enjoy some of the best of Britain.
