If I wanted to spend $10 on a sandwich, I'd go to outback and put a steak between their free bread. At a time when all other deli's are attempting to make their product more affordable and gain market share, firehouse keeps raising prices. Speaking of bread, why does firehouse steam their bread? My last sub was limper than the moobs on the founder in their picture. I don't care if their quality is supposedly better. It's not twice as good. I'd rather have two $5 footlongs.

Love the engineer, minus the onions. nummy food. Plus the sweet tea is always nice and fresh.

Best meatball subs ever!

This place sucks so much balls they can't even take your order right. I ordered a steak and cheese sub to go and I told them twice while taking my order, "no onions, no peppers. just meat and cheese." I get home and unwrap my sub and what did they effing do? You guessed it, they put LOADS of onions and peppers and mayo and mustard. WTF?!?!?!??! By the time I got the onions and peppers off of it, it was like two pieces of bread with some tiny bits of beef sprinkled in the middle. I tried to eat it but it tasted effing tangy!!! That's right, TANGY!!! Are chees steaks supposed to be tangy? I don't think so. It was so gross. I've eaten there once before and had there meatball sub and it was flavorless and the bread tasted like it had been nuked into a rubbery flap of skin. I will NEVER go back there and I suggest to anyone thinking about going there to just head over to a Jimmy Johns or Hangout Deli. Much better food at either establishment. Ok, I'm done. Time to go find some lunch. GRAAAARGGHHHH!!!!

This place sucks. Way overpriced. Bread is always stale. The help is always rude.

Im giving them a five star again as the one in Dothan (northside) finally got those mega-b****es behind the counter fired and service is much MUCH better.  Meatball to me is the only thing worth going there for.

Subway can't compete. This place really makes the sub in front of you. Their meatball sub is the best.

excellent sandwiches, great service, and clean stores. The Apex, NC store (ask for Mo) in Beaver Creek Commons is excellent, very clean, wireless hotspot. Iced Tea is great and the Virginia honey Ham sandwich and Meatball Sub are favorites.
