When I was in high school, we would buy some burritos, score some beer and some Jose Cuervo Tequila and head to the San Gabriel Riverbed for the night and drink to get drunk. we never failed to reach our goal. A good tequila is worth it's weight in gold.

Good tequila, which isn't easy to get, at least where I live, is an excellent drink, just poured over the ice.
Bad tequila, which is about as easy to get as herpes, is wretched.
I always like the ancient dirty joke about the blonde who turns down tequila. "I like it but I was drinking it last night with a bunch of sailors, real nice guys, and I had a great time but when I woke up my ---- hurt."

One crazy night of Tequila ruined it for me for the rest of my life. Now I can't even smell it without wanting to throw-up. Ironic, I'm Mexican. Oh well. Thank god for Vodka :)
