I've heard reports from both GenghisTheHun and EschewObfuscation that occasionally, very, very long reviews are getting vaporized by the character limit feature. This should never happen - it should result in a warning, but not the deletion of the review. (Add picture)

. . . damn . . . as long-winded as I am, I STILL haven't run into this too much at all. And, even when I did get it, it was when I was writing private messages. Good to know, though, I guess . . .

It is a good idea to allow more talkative reviewers to be able to write as much as they like, and although I do tend to waffle sometimes, I have never gone over the limit of words. But of course, without a word limit, mass spamming is possible...

I may get a little long winded on occasion but have never written anything long enough to worry about going over the limit.

I haven't come across this one myself, probably because I don't post long reviews. If it is happening, however, I'd say it's a major bug in need of fixing.
