UPDATE: It ain't fixed guys! Supposed to accept up to 5000 characters, but won't. Maxes out at about 3000.ORIGINAL COMMENT: By the way, what is the limit on characters in reviews? Can't find anything on it. I'm frequently guilty of writing exhaustively long reviews that keep getting bounced, so I have to edit out, resubmit, get bounced again, edit again, resubmit, ad nauseum. If I knew the character limit, I could write my review in a word processor that does a character count, then copy and paste into RIA. Anyone? (Maybe if I wrote shorter reviews I could write more of them, but one of my vocations/avocations is writing, so I'm probably hopeless.)

. . . damn . . . as long-winded as I am, I STILL haven't run into this too much at all. And, even when I did get it, it was when I was writing private messages. Good to know, though, I guess . . .

It is a good idea to allow more talkative reviewers to be able to write as much as they like, and although I do tend to waffle sometimes, I have never gone over the limit of words. But of course, without a word limit, mass spamming is possible...

I may get a little long winded on occasion but have never written anything long enough to worry about going over the limit.

I know I can get a little long winded now and then but Ive never written a review long enough to worry about this feature.

No worries here.

I haven't come across this one myself, probably because I don't post long reviews. If it is happening, however, I'd say it's a major bug in need of fixing.
