05/16/2008 | Disturbed's music bores me. Their sound is what is wrong with American metal. There is no diversity to the song-writing, and no melody to the compositions. They de-tune and churn out sludgy riffs with little significance. Draiman sings like a prick, and Donegan lacks the technique of his European contemporaries who also eschew melody.

08/08/2007 | One of the few metal/hard rock bands I actually listen to. I must agree on atleast 2 of the 3 CD's numbah mentioned - Down with the Sickness and 10,000 Fists ARE killer CD's

03/24/2006 | For one, Disturbed is my favorite band of all time. To like Disturbed you have to actually listen to the lyrics and what they mean. I'll admitt that I like As I Lay Dying and Shadows Fall, but my friends that is not true metal. You can't understand a damned thing coming out of their singer's mouth. So all in all, as the Great Ozzy said, yes, Disturbed is the future of Metal. So piss off all you haters!

03/11/2006 | I'm sorry. I guess I don't know anything about metal because I like Disturbed.
In order for Metal to survive as a genre it needs to change or evolve and if all the groups do nothing but scream then Metal will die off. That's why most people refuse to listen to Metal because all they hear is the screaming. Hair metal died off because everyone started to sound exactly like the last guy.
Ozzfest has always been about exposing new bands to an audience. The Osbournes are already insanely rich so I doubt that they bring out Ozzfest every year just to get your money.

Metal for those who dont know any better. Take the money you were going to spend on it and by some quality new metal, like Lamb Of God, Shadows Fall or As I Lay Dying.

what does ozzy know about metal nowadays? he'll put any sh*tband he thinks will make money on ozzfest (case in point: disturbed) no matter if they sound like dogsh*t being run through a meatgrinder. hes so drugged out of his gourd that he wouldent know good metal if it came up and bit him in his heroin-addled ass.
with that said, if disturbed is the future of metal, then metal is officially dead.
