Years ago, I would have rated Guns a 5. I stopped shooting and collecting years ago, but still have an awful lot of ammo for the guns I have kept. Maybe one of these days I'll find a range around here and just blast away. I particularly like military weapons; am not too keen on revolvers in general, on stainless or chromed guns, and firearms with a lot of plastic (or fibergrass, or whatever the hell they make them out of nowadays, although I do have an early Colt AR-15). About five years ago I was TDY to Poland, courtesy of DOD, and was offered a chance to shoot a pistol on a range we were visiting. Surprised the Poles that as an old civilian I was able to load a clip myself, in addition to being able to hit the target. Got nicknamed Mafia for the rest of the trip.

Some don't care for these things but I love these things. I have fired everything from small pistols to shoulder fired missles, and I get a kick out of recoil. The full auto grenade launcher was particularly gratifying.

You know there were less gun problems when there were less gun control laws. When you restrict the use of something it makes people go out of there way to cause problems.

Yikes, you're opening up a can of worms! Do you really want to get this liberal started on gun control?
