 | Studancer (0) 10/13/2000 | Bix is the epitome of a great world class Saloon that also serves world class food, offers world class music, drinks and ambience all served up by a truly superb staff under the watchful eye of Maestro Doug Biederbeck who truly creates stylish and memorable dining and drinking in stellar surroundings. Lunch and dinner are equally great, drinks are top notch and the atmosphere is outstanding. A must visit for the tourist and native alike.

 | dspr460om (0) 10/27/1999 | Bix is one of the best, most unique restaurants in the city. It is a great find, tucked away in an alley in the financial district. The atmosphere is great, including a lively bar scene and a jazz band that you can enjoy while still being able to hear your dinner companions. The food is awesome (my personal favorite is the lamb chop), and it is not too expensive. Bix is a fantastic place to take a date or visitors from out of town to show them a truly wonderful SF dining experience.
