My experience with Kohls Here I am sharing my experience with Kohls. I am new to this country and in Dec 2006, I went to Kohls (Poway, CA) for shopping. During checkout the lady at the checkout counter offered me the Kohls card for an additional 15% discount without explaining the details. After few months I got few letters saying that I have to pay a huge amount of money as a fine, since I didnt pay the minimum due. After reading all terms and conditions (which took hours) I found out that Kohls card is actually a credit card with a very less amount of credit limit (which is useless). I was expecting the card is like the membership card which many other store offers. But practically, it was not the case. I had even bad experience (unfriendly behavior) while talking to the customer service people to explain this case. Finally, I paid more than $ 100/- extra (due to fine and high APR) to make the final payment and soon I will close my membership with Kohls. I think, while offering such a card, store should explain properly the rules to the customers. It is not a good that customer should find themselves from their busy schedule. I have shared this experience with many other people and I feel that shopping with Kohls is unsatisfactory. Soon or later I will share my experience in different blogs and websites to be aware about shopping at Kohls. In conclusion, my first (and only) experience with Kohls is extremely unsatisfactory. My suggestion, if you are the new customer, then be aware about Kohls. No more Kohls again !!!

I shop at Kohl's probably less than 5 times a year. I have not been to Kohl's since last year @ this location and they remodeled their store. It looks great than be4. They usually got great sales were u can take an additional % off from original price. But now they have the 60-80% off sale and u don't take an additional % off. There are not a lot of choices to choose from the clearance rack in the men's section of the store.

I like Kohls there are always good sales going on there.  You can get a lot of good deals on clothing and other things.

This is one of my favorite stores, despite the extremely rude employees that always seem to be working there (Morris Plains, NJ location). They have some great clothes, and other items, at reasonable prices.

I recently started shopping at Kohl's. I've made purchases about 4 times. Out of the 4 times I've purchased I've had to return 2 items that fell apart in the wash after 1 or 2 washings. While in Customer Service the last time, I noticed a woman returning an item that had fallen apart - yet her receipt did not reflect her purchase. My items did not appear on my receipts (both times), mind you I've kept all of them, but other items that I did NOT purchase did appear! Therefore, I received store credit so that I can buy more poor quality products from Kohl's. Once, several items scanned in at a different price than was advertised on the signs. I had to leave a holiday line in order to verify, for myself, that I had read the sign correctly. Very inconvenient during the holidays, as I had to get back in the line and hope that next cashier took my word on the price. Customer Service, both in store and online, have been most unhelpful in the matter. I would prefer debit card be refunded so that I can purchase better quality elsewhere.
Kohl's has been a very bad experience for me.

Kohl's canceled my order after confirming it. They didn't give me any explanation at all except an email saying that either I cancelled it (I didn't) or they couldn't fulfill my order, whatever that means. They didn't charge my card, at least.

Their regular prices are way too expensive ($18 for their cheapest ties, $35 for their cheapest dress shirts), but when stuff goes on sale you can get stuff dirt cheap.

Nice store. I don't know if their clothes really for me, but as for everything else - it's good. Their prices are nice, always sales all year around. I normally buy clothes for my 4-year old neice there.

Always can score a good deal or two. Good selection and they often carry unique items. The jewelry section is particularly good, often offering 2 items for the price of 1 sale.

Low prices and great service.

It manages to be cheap while classy, which is what a good department store should be. Their clothes are of great quality as well.

It is hard to find a good bargain in this store. Usually the store is organized, clean and neat, but the prices are not good at all.

This store is very expensive and doesn't even have clothes that are that good.

got some outfits for my new daughter as a welcome baby gift without reciepts. they suck at returns. i was wanting in store credit for a better size they only wanted to give me $1.00 for a set of two creepers and $3.00 for the other set of two creepers. Not really good service. I know thoes people bought they outfit no more then two weeks before i turned them and they wern't even on the clearance rack.

My wifes favorite store. I enjoy looking at the unusual array of gifts and house wares. A very nice store with a nice selection of clothes (so I'm told).

Better than Wal-mart and Target in quality and sevice, but their prices need some work. They usually have decent clothes though.

This is a nice store its not packed and they have a very good selection. The prices are reasonable and it is namebrand stuff. Help can be a little hard to find and they are not he friendliest.

Kohl's is expanding nationally, and I'm not surprised. I've found lots of great deals there, including a few nice shirts for under $15 (granted, this was during a recent trip to Ohio - the same bargains may not show up in their east and west coast locations...)

Priced to high for the same thing others sell...Suppose to be a store with low cost prices but where those low cost prices are I have no idea..
