Oh the things you can do with the common potato. I like mine mashed with sour cream, butter, a tiny bit of cream and either roasted garlic cloves or a bit of horseradish or both.

Ooooohhh, so good. My mom makes the best mashed potatoes and gravy, but I'm not picky -- if they're available anywhere, I'll eat 'em!

Herb roasted potatoes beat mashed imho, but they're still great. :)

numbah has good taste- there is nothing I like better than a batch of mashed potatoes with, yes, a medium rare steak.
