She seemed to struggle a little at first with the pace of the news -- and the communication with the producers talking in her ear while she is live -- but she has gotten much better. As a veteran of one of the most tragic episodes in our history--the Vietnam War--I have to say that I always have taken notice of Eurasian women. They absolutely have the best combination of physical characteristics one can inherit. The Vietnamese women whose fathers were probably French diplomats or soldiers were always stunningly beautiful. They were frowned upon in their own country, as was any mixed Vietnamese person. The locals called them "poulez-canard," or "chicken-duck," as if to suggest they were neither this nor that. After we left Vietnam, we left hordes of fatherless half-caucasian children there, whose lives were completely miserable for many years to come. They caught hell from all Viets, not only the conquering Communists from the north. Anyway, Betty Nguyen is a typically stunningly gorgeous example of a Eurasian woman. I suppose her father was the Vietnamese, though I don't know her biography. In simple terms, with her articulate and intelligent approach to conveying the news, and her obvious incredible looks, I melt each time I see her on my large screen TV. Yah, Mon!! Dat one hot mamacita!
