Anyone who can actually give Ebisu a rating higher than 3 stars must definitely be a sushi eating rookie! The quality sushi places do not serve all those crazy rolls!

Not the greatest, as everyone claims, but pretty good fish. The service is hurried, but friendly, and the long wait is a negative.

Ebisu is my favorite restaurant in the city. All they need to do is lower a couple of prices. The monk fish liver is the best. The fish is always fresh and there's fast service. They should get another building to shorten the line outside on Saturday nights.

Ebisu is by far the best sushi joint in the San Francisco Bay Area. The fish is fresh and the chefs are bonafide sushi artists! A seat at the bar for a party of two or three is definitely worth the wait (but be prepared to wait...). Try the Caterpillar or ask your chef for his/her specialty. If you do the latter, be sure to buy your chef a drink, too! One warning: check the prices on the daily specials before ordering.
