3.5 A slow, very different take on the Beatles classic. According to several writers, The Beatles were impressed with this version, much like George Harrison had loved Vanilla Fudge's versions of "Eleanor Rigby" and " Ticket To Ride' on the Fudge's debut. It's a slow version, rather cheesy in a way- but at the same time rather atmospheric, with some good guitar work from Blackmore and some great organ blasts from Lord, who should always be considered whenever the topic of the great keyboardists in rock comes up.
