no over-the-counter solution really works. (my gyno recommended crisco) (htg)
good news-sometimes the dryness just goes away, and your libido comes back, with a vengence!!!!!!!!!!!!

10/24/2006 | well I am in my upper 40s, so this is not so far off in the future for me. Guess when this part of my life begins, I can hope to take it day to day. and keep a sense of humor. I see women way older than me and they made it through. so I am sure I will too.

10/19/2006 | It may not be much fun going through it,but I know quite a few post-menopausal women who are relieved to be free once and for all from "the curse".Unfortunately,our society does not usually give older women the respect and admiration they deserve.

10/17/2006 | Actually, menopause usually happens in late middle age. Not everyone is medically able to OD on hormones. It's just something you have to get through. It doesn't have to be the big deal the sitcoms make it out to be. Oh and BTW guys - men go through a type of menopause too so, let's all laugh about that for awhile.
