 | Vudija (101) 04/09/2007 | More power to those who prefer online shopping, I understand the appeal, but I'd rather shop directly from a store.

 | zuchinibut (46) 12/12/2006 | I've used Amazon.com before, but I'm such a last minute shopper that I don't think waiting for delivery will work for me. I'll more than likely get gifts the few days before Christmas.

 | CastleBee (92) 12/11/2006 | Online is one of the easiest, most hassle-free ways to shop and Amazon is one of the best if not the best. I usually find exactly what I'm looking for here too. When dealing with the mail, you need to plan your strategy and shop early but, it's usually worth it.

 | doobiesNhof (22) 12/10/2006 | I buy a lot of CDs and DVDs from them. No shipping charges for orders over $25 and no sales tax. Great selection and some super buys.

 | magellan (178) 12/09/2006 | Amazon makes it really easy. They have everything, you can ship anywhere, they're super reliable, and have good prices. They're tough to beat.

 | kamylienne (84) 12/09/2006 | Since my family is 850+ miles away, the bulk of my shopping for the holidays has to be done online.
My reasoning: as long as I shop for things like books or something (where the condition of the object is generally the same no matter where you buy it), online shopping is a good way of getting the job done. I can search for books that aren't in my local stores, and they're usually discounted to a point where the shipping charges are covered and then some. Plus, if it's damaged when it arrives, I know that I can get a gift certificate to compensate (which is generally not an option if I ship it myself). Why Amazon? Well, in the limited amount of experience I have with them, they seem pretty decent and reliable.
