01/29/2007 | I agree with AutzenMaven. Rarely do I need anything more than Elements. As this is free with most PCs I've ever bought, how can you go wrong?
Maybe it is familiarity that has developed over the years, but unlike some of my other, more sophisticated graphics and photo manipulation programs, like Xara Extreme, the controls for Elemets seem intuitive. I don't need much of a refresher course before I am up-and-running.
My only knock on it is that it doesn't have(or I'm unaware that it has) much graphics capability. So, while you can insert some basic text, it isn't possible to do anything fancy with inserted text or non-photographic elements. Still, for the price . . . wonderful.
