We were grossly over charged for what should have been a simple repair. Every time I asked how much something was going to cost we were told $20-30 and our bill to fix a small leak was over $600. Not to mention it took all day because he arrived after he said he would. Had to leave 2x to get parts for the ones he broke (and charged me for). Would strongly suggest looking for another plumber unless you want your money to go down the drain.

Scott, the Master Plumber, Kyle the Journeyman, and his crew all did an excellent job at our house in Ann Arbor in February 2009. We have an early 1900's place on the Old West Side and needed work replacing galvanized plumbing and ancient drain pipes. The quote was lower than two other local competitors by over $1000, and they explained the work and did the job very thoroughly, including fixing some minor odd problems in the basement plumbing and toilet for free. I was very happy with the work, and thrilled to have the househld plumbing at 100%.

  After getting high quotes from other plumbers, and hearing that they couldn't come the same day, my friend recommended Washtenaw Plumbing and Heating. They came the same afternoon. They were clean, courteous, prompt, quickly fixed the problem, and to boot their bill was less than anyone else's estimate! I recommend them to all of my friends.
