 | kamylienne (77) 04/29/2007 | I don't have too much experience with any other database software to rate this against, but I have enough experience with Access to know that it's not horrible, but it could be a lot better. For a long time, my company had used Access for its database needs, and it does do a fair job in keeping data, searching for data, incorporating data into reports, etc., but it did have its limitations. For a small or medium-sized company, I think Access may be adequate. Right now, I'm using Access at home to create a list of the books I have, and I'm messing with designing a database with images for each record and listing stories in compilations (On my first try, I got done entering over 300 books (approx. halfway done) before I decided to scrap it and re-do everything). I'd say that it does a pretty good job for home use, probably better for home use than office use.
