12/07/2006 | I don't honestly feel a 3 is fair, but I'm holding it on high standards because it's 1/3 of Disney's major theme parks. The park is tons of fun, and rides are a tad more grown up than most of the other parks, but some of their old stuff really needs to go. STAR WARS is ancient, and horrible!!!(relax jedi freaks. This is solely about the ride. Nothing to do w/ the movie) The park had some very cool places to eat, and offers a great variety of shows (prob the best of all parks), but not much to do the second time around. Teriffic park. Guarantees you a great goodbye show (Fantasmic) that'll leave you breathless, and definitely wanting to see it again.
I only stand by 3 because i'm only comparing to it's near by Disney parks, but MGM is not something you'd wanna miss!

06/22/2005 | Honesty, if I had to sacrafice a park during my visit, it would be this one. Just how many shows can one watch during the course of the day? I will say the Rockin' Rollercoaster is fantastic but that's about the only part of this park that I enjoy.

10/30/2004 | This is a great amusement park, on par with Universal Studios, but a different kind of entertainment. While US focuses more on thrill rides, Disney Studios has a more balanced approach. The rocknroller coaster and tower of terror are great, thrilling additions, as good as anything in US. The Great Movie Ride and MuppetVision at Disney Studios are classics that have no parrallel at Universal, however!

06/18/2004 |  I have lived in Orlando for many years now and have never had the chance to hit MGM Studios, I am sure glad I did. It seems to be so much different compared to the other theme parks in the Walt Disney World Resort. It didn't seem to be too overly packed with people, and almost all the employees were polite. It had the perfect amount of rides and shows without over doing it on one or the other. I really enjoyed the Aerosmith Rockin' Rollercoaster, but didn't really care for the back-breaking Tower of Terror...which I have now nicknamed the Tower from Hell. I imagine that other people may enjoy it however. Something else that I thought was wonderful about MGM Studios were all the smoking areas. This theme park obviously understands that alot of customers smoke and enjoy doing so while on vacation, and the smoking areas are great for everyone involved as they don't make non smokers uncomfortable. The only bad experience I at MGM was the eating arrangements. If you weren't willing to spend a fortune, you didn't really have much choices. We decided to eat at ABC Commissary and it was atrcious, not only did we wait over an hour for a cheeseburger, but the help was completely incompetant and the food was way overpriced. But overall, I highly recommend this park to the whole family. Very, very good !!!

09/04/2003 | This movie studio based theme park is a must see for all Disney World and Orlando tourists and locals! Even though its Disney Worlds smallest theme park, it still has its place in the tops list of great theme parks! 01/17/2003 | This has the best thrill rides in Walt Disney World (Tower of Terror and Rock N Roller Coaster). The Rock N Roller Coaster goes from 0-60 in 2 seconds (no crawling up a track to the top of the first hill, like most roller coasters). Star Tours is always fun, and so are the Muppets! The best thing to see is Fantasmic, the nightly show. It is incredible; my favorite of the Disney nightly shows. But do get there an hour before the show if you want a good seat!

09/03/2002 | GOOD: 1. Food-My favorite restaurant is the 50's drive in. While waiting for your food, you can watch 50s cartoons and commercials. I love their barbecue ribs. YUM! 2. Musicals-Beauty & Beast. 3. New shows-Who wants to be a Millionaire. The audience can participate in the fastest finger question. Everybody is a winner. A new hat or pins. Ha! 4. You can learn about animation. 5. Rides-Star Wars & Great Movie ride. 6. Fast Pass-It saves you a lot of time. 7. Their light show-Fireworks, live actors, and special effects. You have to get there early before the good seats are taken. BAD: 1. They closed early. 2. The Disney people took my favorite attraction away. They replace it with a crummy attraction to promote their new ABC shows ZZZZZ

09/02/2001 | My husband and I really enjoyed this park. The Rock and Roll rollercoaster was a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed the Muppets attraction. The restaurants at this park is better than at the others I visited, because they are cheaper and easier to get into. My favorite was the one that looks like you are in a real 50s kitchen. The food was like a home cooked meal, which after a few days of being at the park is a welcomed thing.

01/23/2000 | Tower of terror is good and the roller coaster is good. The shows are also excellent but loud Rather expensive $48 unless you ha ve a multiple park pass
