06/14/2007 | I understand the point of this list, but truly it comes across as leaving out the fact that EVERYONE is called names. I'm female, short, small, asian, agnostic, and for every label that someone can slap on me comes a derogative slur. But it's the same for men, tall people, fat people, and people of every race and religious background.
While it's understandable to feel indignant and even vent about it a little, rather than allow oneself to be victimized, it'd be better to let it go. To dwell on insult is exactly what the offender wants.
