My parents, a friend, my fiance and I went to the Cliff House to eat. It looks like a nice place but the people who work there are extremley disrespectful. We waited about a half hour at our table and our waiter never even showed up. So if you want to go some place to eat, DO NOT GO TO THE CLIFF HOUSE!!!! You want good service, there is an Applebee's, a Chili's and a Chevy's about 5 miles inland.

Long wait, over an hour-found was marginal. Hosts and hostesses rude and unfriendly. Called to make reservations at 10:12 on a Sunday morning for breakfast brunch and was told they don't take reservations after 10 am. When I got there, there was no room for breakfast and was told that was untrue. Went upstairs and put in my name for breakfast, long wait, very unfriendly and condescending hostesses. I'm a local that has been going there for many years and since the remodel, they are terrible. They need a better attitude! Once we were seated the waiter was nice, but food was only so so.

Sounds romantic...after all, my parents had their first date here.... -and of course my mom almost spit out her calamari when she realized what she was eating!

I've been there four times, but it was all on rainy days. The weather there is awful, but it makes the Cliff House nice. Standing at the deck and looking at the rocks in the ocean, we can think or wonder about a broad but exciting image. Cloudy or rainy weather makes for a good atmosphere.

Cliff House is a shadow of its former self. While a popular attraction, Cliff House lacks in character. I would like to see restoration done that would replicate the original structure.

Overlooking the sunset on the beach, the Cliff House offers a romantic dinner in a quiet, secluded area. Offering both a dining area and a separate room for private parties, the unique food is pleasurable to everyone.

Nice view, but nothing spectacular. The food was tolerable, but also rather mediocre and not worth the price.

I went there on my birthday and the food was great and the views of the ocean were beautiful. There were also places to walk while waiting for your table.

Not only do you get views of the pennisula coast, but the food is wonderful. There is an old fashion arcade where you can play games from your parents generation and games of today.

This place gets a four for absolutely nothing that they are doing right. It's expensive, the food sucked, the tables were filthy, the service laughably bad - but the views were so stunning that it was an enjoyable experience. I was there for a sunset, and I would definitely recommend that you go there for an expensive drink and lousy appetizer and watch the sun go down.

It is nice and all, but kind of over rated. The food is good, but from the Cliffhouse parking lot, the beach is too far away and inaccesible for the handicap.

It's a tourist trap and the food isn't very good, but the views are amazing. Go there for a drink as the sun is going down, then eat dinner somewhere else.
