If I could be assured he would be the back from 83-87, I would be hard pressed not to pick him first, but the strike in 1986 and injury problems with the Colts was ultimately the end of Eric's fine but short career.

At an uncanny 6'3", closer to 6'4" frame, he was very agile for a big runner. Talk about power and speed!
Dickerson took the league by storm in his rookie year going over 1800 yards and followed that with the monster season in 1984. Dickerson would certainly not be a bad pick, just don't over use him like the Rams did and wear him out.

Hard not to like a guy with this kind of size and speed. He might not be my first choice, but I'd think hard before going another way.
