Lakers power forward from 1981-1988 and 1993-94..became assistant coach with club in 1994-95 but was then signed by club in middle of season when team experienced flurry of injuries...coached Lakers after Del Harris was fired in 1999 NBA season...currently serves as Laker assistant coach....played college ball at Santa Clara (Add picture)

A hard-worker with limited offensive skill who always gave 100% effort....inserted into starting lineup in 1981-82 season after Mitch Kupchack went down with injury and stayed in starting lineup until 1985-86 season, then came off the bench when AC Green became starter....Laker fans loved his hustle...Had fan club known as "Rambis Youth"....I remember watching him in 1985 NBA finals accidently knock fan unconscious when he dived into stands for loose ball, he hustled so much during that series I thought he deserved some consideration for series MVP ....had limited offensive skill but occasionally could hit open jumper and could run floor and score on the break
