The HairMax Lasercomb is the only FDA evaluated device for hair loss in the LLLT class of devices. The LLLT rely on low level laser light to somehow stimulate increased blood flow and hair growth. The Lasercomb is currently FDA cleared. Double blind placebo controlled studies are lacking for the device but initial small trials are promising.
