If you are interested in vacationing in places like the Love Canal, Somalia, or the Union Carbide plant in Bhopal, India, this is the travel blog for you.

For over three years, Sprol.com has published a sort of anti-travel blog. I'm the editor.

Try more goole... those are water reservoirs, not spent fuel areas. they are inside the smaller rectangular brown building. The birds do enjoy that fresh water though.

Sprol.com is an educational site to stop and make all of us think about the world we live in. Most people take things for granted - sprol.com doesn't. Each of the photos/blog entries gives us a situation and there's never an easy fix. Worth reading.

Interesting stuff, but I disagree that United States tested "more" nuclear weapons than Soviets/now Russian Federation which has tested nukes as late as 1996-9 and you can see them using the google earth Russian Nukes KMZ. The United States has done alot and did do the most above surface testing, but not in Nevada, the aprox320 tests were mainly done in the Pacific, and Amchitka Island (Alaskan Aleutian isles chain) , this test was what led to the Green Peace movement and helped give it a strong start. The one megaton underground test violently shook the already unstable island.
