Acrobat Reader displays pages from the PDF format. In order to do this it requires several minutes to launch into memory and 2-3 downloaded software updates per month. There should be a picture of Acrobat Reader in the dictionary under "software bloat". Uninstall.

Adobe Acrobat is considered an industry standard in relation to the PDF reading and creation. However, many alternative programs provide more capabilities with less utilized PC resources. In the latest version, interface was completely redesigned, giving more intuitive perception and offering tools for viewing information more efficiently. It also has been integrated with Adobe Connect, which lets users instantly comment and collaborate on projects with online presentations and live online meetings.
