I'm a guy from United Kingdom
About me: Also known as PloKoon13, I am a politically aware 17-year-old who would probably be considered as a nerd. I am sometimes (undeservedly, of course...) called a Nazi for my right-wing views, but then again I have the bad luck of living in wishy-washy liberal England. I love rock music and various films as well as video games. I have recently developed an unreasonable infatuation with Star Wars which would explain the subject of the majority of my weblists. I enjoy retro games (indeed, I am still stuck on the PSOne) and am skeptical of the next-gen.

Having been there to see the Wolves game as recently as last weekend, I can say that this is a magical stadium. The rain was horrible, but combined with the floodlights, gave the players and everything inside the Bridge an almost heavenly aura. Absolutely outstanding experience, and a brilliant view from our seats. Quite spectacular.

Are you kidding? Irish has actually got the same problem as Lemmy Kilminster; apparently his body is so used to the alcohol in the system that he has to continue drinking alcohol or he'll die.

If you had to pick one film to represent a generation of film clichés and woeful special effects, you'd pick this, but it's entertaining, and contains enough nudity and inebriated camel-punching to be worthy of five stars.

Even if you don't like what he stands for, there is no denying that that man simply oozes cool. If being the first ever black President wasn't enough, there is his effortless public oration, coupled with how the English media worship his every move (at least compared to Gordon Brown, who seems to have reached the status of 'media pariah') make for a very positive public profile over here.
He's actually starting to grow on me as a President. I'm not entirely sure how he made his healthcare reforms economically viable, but if he does pull it off, he goes down as a hero in my book. I'm sure Wiseguy will be very fast to disagree, however...

This was rubbish. I couldn't even get to the end of the film.
I was aware that the Saw films were dipping in quality quite severely (in all honesty they should have given up the second Jigsaw was killed off), but I never imagined it would become as unwatchable as this tripe. Gone are the intricacies, eccentricities and ingenious contraptions of this, the most self-righteous and twisted of villains, and in its place are a set of soulless characters, most of whom I can't tell apart due to the poor scripting and average acting. As a result, I don't know what's happening most of the time, and it's so uninteresting that I just don't care. Every Saw film now seems to exist to explain one very small part of Jigsaw's plan, and in all honesty, I just can't be bothered with it any more. A real poor show, and I hope they don't drag this once-brilliant franchise even further into the mud.

Strangely enough, this was, in my opinion, the best of the Harry Potter series so far. It by far exceeded expectations, although in all honesty, after watching the travesty that was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, neither of those sentences are really saying much. The lovey scenes were humourous as opposed to over-cheesy, and some of the action scenes were actually quite cool. Slughorn was well portrayed, and Michael Gambon finally came into his own and proved himself a worthy successor to Richard Harris with his portrayal of Professor Dumbledore's final year.
Of course, the film was still very short of spectacular, but this has at least given us some hope of a finale worthy of the book series, and not the absolute catastrophe that it had become.

Pretty standard Tarantino fare. An eccentric bloodbath with a convoluted timeline. I enjoyed the film; it flowed well and the language barrier was very aptly crossed, and I very much liked the plot twist at the end (Hitler and his cronies get shot to pieces), and an already good film was capped off with a frankly spectacular performance from Christolph Waltz as the charismatic Nazi officer. There were also a couple of amusing scenes starring Brad Pitt's American renegade. Certainly worth watching, but not if you are looking for a film with a deep message.

This was an absolute shocker. The hype generated by the adverts, which put forth a claim that this film was based on actual events (I later found out this was nothing more than a complete and utter lie), and had 'actual footage' of various creepy scenarios. The trailer set down the gauntlet for a very exciting film.
However, the trailer was better than the film itself. The script was abysmal. I actually shouted out "Oh please..." in the cinema when the aliens made the claim "I am God". Never have a I seen a more plot-deficient, cliché-filled piece of cinematic detritus than this 97 minutes.
Universal, I want my money back. This was completely deserving of the '0%' critics' rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website.

Irritating, egotistical idiot who has the musical talent of my old dog. I didn't know he was bisexual though. I guess that explains the eyeliner.
