About ILikePie - Male, 17 and Single
Also known as PloKoon13, I am a politically aware 17-year-old who would probably be considered as a nerd. I am sometimes (undeservedly, of course...) called a Nazi for my right-wing views, but then again I have the bad luck of living in wishy-washy liberal England.
I love rock music and various films as well as video games. I have recently developed an unreasonable infatuation with Star Wars which would explain the subject of the majority of my weblists.
I enjoy retro games (indeed, I am still stuck on the PSOne) and am skeptical of the next-gen.

Favorite Music & Artists:
My tastes waver between prog rock and the blues, passing through rock and [some] metal in between...
My favourite bands are Led Zeppelin, Dokken, Boston, the Dan Reed Network, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Dream Theater, but nothing quite touches my two favourite bands, Rush and the mighty Thin Lizzy.
I am also a great follower of the masters of the guitar, and enjoy my bit of Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson and Steve Vai (and certainly enjoy the G3 tour), and even some shredding like Yngwie Malmsteen and Michael Angelo Batio.
To a lesser extent, I enjoy Jazz and Reggae music.
There are many bands I cannot stand, particularly the vastly overrated ones, which you may hear me ranting about regularly (e.g. Nirvana, the Beatles, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, The Ramones, etc...)
Favorite Books & Authors:
I love David Eddings' 'Belgariad' series, I also enjoy some French authors for example Victor Hugo or Guy de Maupassant.
Others: Dickens, Wilde, Tolkien
Favorite Movies, TV Shows, Stars & Directors:
My favourite TV show is the English satirical panel game 'Have I Got News For You'. I cannot stand the ghastly HIGNFY clones like 'Eight out of Ten Cats' or 'Mock the Week' which are NOT funny at all.
I am a big film fan; my favourites include Cool Runnings, Con Air, the Star Wars films, Wayne's World, the Terminator series, Vanilla Sky, the Austin Powers series, Pulp Fiction, Les Misérables and I suppose Lord of the Rings. I cannot stand the Harry Potter films and maintain that any film with children as the main roles will be crap.
My favourite actor is John Malkovich, as not only is he a great actor, but he also has sensible political views.
I also like John Candy and Mike Myers.
