it doesnt matter how difficult you riffs are, its how good they sound and how heavy they are man....and dime could do it all man

You would be hard pressed to find a Heavy Metal band that has stayed relevent for twenty plus years like they have, as a matter of fact Metallica is the only Heavy Metal band that has done so?? rly? I just dont think that ur giving Megadeth credit where credit is due my friend and i just thought i would let u know that the Gods of rock hang their heads in shame tonight. (shakes head slowly, sadly, and shamefully) :(

Are you really saying that Megadeth was BEHIND Metallica... most REAL metalheads will tell you that Metallica are Jerks and people started to realize that pretty quickly and all the REAL metalheds started switching over their attention to the REAL RULERS of thrash and that MEGADETH! Theres no denying it. I do like Metallica and i do think that Hammett is a good guitarist but Metallica cant hold a candle to Megadeth and Hammett cant hold a candle to Dave Mustaine... yeah ok he was an abusive alcholic, but so are alot of other people from other bands and i believe that if Metallica hadn't been such jerks and would have tried to catch dave while he was sober to work things out that Metallica would have been the greatest thrash band that ever lived, but instead their heads got big and Mustaine was booted, but you see how that came back around to bite them in the long run... So by the time the "black album" hit all the Metallica fans were now WORSHIPNG Megadeth with good reason to... I could go on with this for days to try to explain this to you but i fear that it just won't work... im sorry but Megadeth DID rule thrash metal and DEFINATLY come before Metallica. I realize that im only sharing opinons with you though so please, no hard feelings
