"Forrest Gump" (1994) is a drama starring Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise and Sally Field. A boy of below-average intelligence experiences some of the biggest events of the 20th century as he grows into adulthood. Rated PG-13.

Simple, simplistic, utterly contrived, and frequently just plain dull. There is absolutely nothing to this movie. About as profound as a bad comic book.
