The Army serves a purpose. The smart people stand out like sore thumbs, and progress quickly through the ranks, if they don't get disgruntled from working with ...umm the not so smart ones. You may be given a primary job, but your REAL primary job is playing soldier, and doing PT. Don't expect to be treated like an individual...it's all about following orders and being a soldier. That's why the whole army of one campain came about...to dispell the myth that the individual isnt important. Actions speak louder that silly slogans. In the end it's just about personal preference.
