The fact that a liberal comedian can write a better book on politics than most conservative politicians is indicative of just how thin the Right's arguments really are. People accuse Franken of being too critical of his targets, but why should he go easy on people who are lying, self-serving money grubbers and power mongers? I think a friend of mine said it best: If I were a Republican, I'd be ashamed to show my face after reading this book. I read agree whole-heartedly, with one exception: If I were a Republican, I'd have been ashamed already.
