She added a nice twist to the whole Dawson/Joey plot. She was too old for Dawson. Maybe not age wise, but just mentally. She had her own life, and she needed to go to college, and be with people her own age. Dawson's mind is too small town. He hasn't experienced enough to be with her. I can't realize see the resmemblance between her and Pacey.
