The crimes of Saddam Hussein are primarily against the Iraqi people, and thus he should be tried by them. I think moving his prosecution out of Iraq would be a mistake, and could send the message that the new Iraqi government is not strong enough or not competent enough to handle this trial. The sooner the Iraqi government establishes itself, the sooner American troops can get out of there, so we should be doing everything we can to help that government stand on its own. This would be a good beginning.
