Coming straight from Nigeria is the artistic and creepy genius himself Chris Ofili. He started his work at the Brooklyn Museum and his work was so controversial it caught the attention of mayor Rudy Giulani.
Chris Ofili painted a giant mural depicting the Virgin Mary as a black woman in a silky blue gown with one breast peeking out.
Her halo (and I am being serious) was a halo made out of breasts.
It may be strange, but it is extremely creative and mysterious all while displaying talent.
Chris Ofili has done some interesting photography as well. He is one odd man, but you can't deny the genius.
