By any objective standard, this guy was a mediocre president. Such potential that he may have had ended in Dealey Plaza and he left behind a legacy of half-loaf accomplishments. Certainly he was young, handsome, charismatic and the first president that had an understanding of the power of media. This does not make him great. If one says the above, or some version of it, there are those on RIA and in the real world who get ferociously worked up. Let me be clear, I'm not talking about Redoedo, our local chair of the JFK Defense League, who makes his points with some clarity and logic. I am referring to the the thimblewits who worship a Kennedy Camelot that never existed except in the minds and pens of the mythmakers.
