This calls to mind one of my favorite lines from Office Space where Michael asks Peter where he was all weekend after repeat no-shows, despite being asked to come in to work: Michael, I did nothing. I did absolutely nothing, and it was everything that I thought it could be. What a great line. Considering the fact that I'm frantically working two jobs six days a week in order to buy a new car and set aside some cash for my glorious return to academic life this July, the prospect of doing nothing, stretching out on the couch, and ignoring the world's insatiable need for an ever-increasing amount of my time is a very appealing one indeed.
